 Thermal insulation is the reduction of the effects of the various process of heat transfer between objects in thermal contact.

Skill Elements

• Entire pipe should be covered by insulation material and well fitted.
• Security of insulation should be rigid with proper spacing.
• Correct method of placing of insulation.
• Jacketing should not be loose at elbow.
• End cap at tee – join is properly cut and installed.
• Overlap of Jacketing should be sufficient
